We've all seen that TV footage of grown men spraying each other with alcoholic bubbly stuff after they've won the World Series. Some wear goggles so they don't get the bubbly in their eyes--which are so precious to major league baseball players. Some don't bother wearing goggles. They're the ones who are really acting like they're 5 years of age. However, spraying each other with alcohol after winning a baseball game is small stuff compared to what happened the other night when the Miami Heat basketball team celebrated its NBA championship at something called the Story Nightclub. ESPN says most of the players partied there, and ordered 100 bottles of Dom Perignon and three 3-liter bottles of champagne. David Grutman, who owns the nightclub, said the clubs sells the standard 750-millimeter bottles of Dom Perignon for $850 each and sells 3-liter bottles, called Jeroboams, for $5,000. The club paid for the Heat's alcohol. I hope the boys had a great time. I also hope they had a designated driver.
