DRAKE QUICKLY

(5-8, 0-2 MVC) lost at Southern Illinois, 77-70. last Saturday.
The Bulldogs dropped their Valley opener at Evansville, 66-60.
-Sophomore guard
Kyndal Clark (Webb City, Mo.) averages a team-leading 13.3 points per game and has scored in double figures in 11-of-13 games this season.
-Every player on the roster saw time in the game against Southern Illinois and helped the Bulldogs’ bench outscore SIU’s, 36-25.
-Drake
is trying to avoid its first 0-3 start in MVC play since the 2006-07
season when the Bulldogs dropped their first seven MVC games.
-The
Bulldogs have scored 60 or more points in their last eight contests and
are averaging 65.3 points per game, up from 56.8 points per game at the
same point last season. Drake has scored 60
or more points in 12-of-13 contests this year.
-Drake
will host its second MVC home game when they welcome Illinois State
(10-4, 2-0 MVC) to the Knapp Center on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is 2:05

INDIANA STATE QUICKLY
-Indiana State (9-4, 1-1 MVC) is coming off a 54-52 loss at home to UNI on Sunday. The Sycamores opened MVC play with a
55-54 win over Bradley at home.
-Anna Munn is leading the Sycamore at 15.5 points per game, which ranks third in the conference.
-Indiana State is holding opponents to a conference-leading 50.3 points per game, which ranks 12th in the country.
-The Sycamores average just 57.6 points per game, which ranks eighth in the Valley.
-Indiana State holds opponents to a conference-low 36.5 percent shooting from the field and swipes a conference-best 10.9
steals per game.
DRAKE VS ISU
Drake
is 47-18 against Indiana State in the all-time series including an
impressive 28-3 in Des Moines. The Bulldogs have won the last three
games against the Sycamores and have not dropped a home game to ISU
since March 3, 2007 (76-68). Drake is 8-2 in its last 10 games against
Indiana State and won both games last season against the Sycamores.
