Make it 10 successive victories and a 10-1 record for Valley's football team after rolling past Johnston, 35-7, tonight at Valley Stadium. Now the Tigers get an opportunity to avenge their only defeat, but to do it they'll need to win on the field that was the site of their loss. They play Friday night at Waukee as the class 4-A playoffs continue. It was Waukee which defeated Valley,28-6, in the opening game of the season in August. In Friday night's other 4-A games, Dowling plays Ankeny at East's Williams Stadium; Washington of Cedar Rapids collides with Iowa City West at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids, and North Scott of Eldridge plays at Bettendorf. The winners of Friday's games qualify for the semifinal round at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
